Timothée Chalamet as King Henry V in New Trailer

Timothée Chalamet is on a roll. After his impressive success with Call Me Be Your Name, Lady Bird, and Beautiful Boy, he has quite a cinematic line up set for this fall including Greta Gerwig’s Little Women. Before that hits theaters, he stars in The King. Netflix has just released the first trailer for the film starring Chalamet as King Henry V. The film will focus on Henry’s younger years as he goes from a prince to a reluctant king and must navigate the chaotic royal world that his father left behind. Chalamet’s co-stars include Joel Edgerton, Robert Pattinson, Lily Rose Depp, Sean Harris, and Ben Mendelsohn. The film was directed by David Michôd and the screenplay was written by Michôd and Joel Edgerton. It will premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 2nd and stream on Netflix November 1st.
